Alice Janet “Kitty” Larson, 55, of Decatur, IL passed away on Friday (March 11, 2011) in her residence.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday (March 21, 2011) at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday at Maroa Cemetery. Alice was born on February 26, 1956 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Ralph and Helen Jeanette (Ellis) Larson. She was a member of Decatur East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Surviving are her sisters: Mary E. (Marv) McMaster of Apopka, FL, Sue (Jim) DePeugh of Decatur, IL, Estella Curtsinger of Decatur, IL; brothers: Roy Hankinson of Maiden Rock, WI, Gary (Char) Hankinson of Princeville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Larry Hankinson.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hickory Street Place for the care and attention that Alice received.

What a beautiful soul Kitty was. I will always remember her in the bedroom listening to her records of which Dolly was her favorite. I loved to laugh with her at night when we were suppose to be sleeping and we would get away with it until she started laughing so hard she would snort
She always loved to get her hair brushed and dress up with her purse. She was a very special person to me!

Kitty was my cousin, I remember visiting, going in her room and playing with her dolls, and her sharing her candy and cheese curls with me. I loved Kitty very much. She love my Mom. She always got excited when Aunt Peg visited. She is always in my Memory, And will be dearly missed.
